How to Integrate Warudo
This guide explains how to use finger tracking in Warudo.
For body tracking, please refer to the integration method
that matches your device.
Choose one of the two finger-tracking methods: follow the VMC setup below, or use DivingStation without VMC.
Setup via Virtual Motion Capture (VMC)
The VMC UI may vary depending on the version.
This document is based on VMC v0.56.
Loading a VRM
-
Load a VRM model into VMC.

-
Load the same VRM model into DivingStation.

Ensure that both VMC and DivingStation use the same VRM model.
VMC Settings
- In Motion Reception Settings, enable OSC Motion Reception.
- In the VMC Protocol receiver list, check the port of the enabled receiver.

For v0.55 and earlier:
- In Motion Reception Settings, enable "Enable OSC Motion Reception"
and "Retrieve Hand Bones". - Check the Port number (usually a 5-digit number).

If there is a sync delay with motion capture:
Adjust the delay time to synchronize finger movements with body movements.

DivingStation Settings
- Open the DivingStation settings and verify that
the Virtual Motion Capture Port matches the one set in VMC.
If they do not match, update the port number in DivingStation.

Calibration
-
Press the Calibration button in DivingStation.
(You can also press the Space key to open the calibration screen.)
-
Select Wrist, assume the T-pose shown below, and start calibration.

For v0.55 and earlier:
Ensure that the front direction during motion capture calibration
matches the front direction during wrist calibration.
If the wrist movement feels incorrect, try recalibrating.
Setup Using DivingStation Only
-
Open Warudo and press "Get Started" in the Basic Settings.

-
Depending on whether you select "Yes" or "No",
the setup screen will differ.
Follow the instructions based on your selection.
-
If you select "Yes":
In the displayed options, select "Yes" for "Do you need upper body tracking?".
(Other settings should be configured based on your environment.)
-
If you select "No":
In the "Pose Tracking" dropdown, select "VMC".
-
Return to the Top screen and select "VMC Receiver" on the left.

-
In the displayed screen, set the "Port" value
to match the "Virtual Motion Capture Port" in DivingStation.
